Adam Wills & James Townsend - Percussion Duo

CVCON Director and percussion tutor joins forces with Melbourne based percussionist James Townsend for an afternoon of percussion music.

James is a former student of Adam's and a regular performer with Orchestra Victoria.

Acacia Quartet

One of the leading Australian string quartets, we are pleased to welcome the Acacia Quartet back for 2022.  

Acacia are passionate about supporting Australian composers, working with young musicians, and sharing their love of music with audiences of all ages.

Andrew Blanch & Emily Granger - Suite Magica

Guitar and harp are an exquisite combination that whispers their secrets only in the most intimate and transparent acoustics.

Small suites by Máximo Diego Pujol and Marco Pereira bookend this concert, which also includes works by Ravel and Granados, and the premiere of a new work for the duo by Elena Kats-Chernin.

Alexander Gadjiev - Piano

Alexander Gadjiev is the First Prize winner of the prestigious and internationally renowned Sydney International Piano Competition.

Awarded by an international jury, Gadjiev stole the show in last year’s competition, receiving half of all the prizes available to the finalists – a first for any competitor in The Sydney’s 44 year history.

2022 St Cecilia's Concert

The teachers of the Conservatorium take to the stage to honour the Patroness Saint of Musicians.

Come along and see the wonderful musicians and actors we have here on the teaching staff at the Conservatorium.
