ENSEMBLE STUDIES
All Ensembles are $7.00 per week and invoiced by the Term.

JUNIOR/YOUTH CHOIR

ADULT COMMUNITY CHOIR
Monday 6.00 - 7.30pm


FLUTE ENSEMBLE
Tuesday 6.00 - 6.45pm
Open to flautists in school years 6, 7 and 8. For 2009, students enrolled in Single Studies can join the Flute Ensemble for only $3 per week. The Flute Ensemble is especially suited to students leaving the Primary School Band Program or are having private lessons and would like to play the flute in a small goup.

BIG BAND

The Big Band is available for ages 14 and upwards. For 2009, students enrolled in Concert Band can join Big Brand free. The Big Band caters for those who play sax, bass guitar, piano and drums. The Big Band play music of jazz, swing, latin and other popular styles.


CLARINET CHOIR
Friday 4.00 - 4.45pm
Open to clarinettists in school years 6, 7 and 8. For 2009, students enrolled in Single Studies can join the Clarinet Choir for only $3 per week. The Clarinet Choir is especially suited to students leaving the Primary School Band Program or are having private lessons and would like to play the clarinet in a small group.


GROUP STUDIES

EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC
Friday 10.00am
Early Childhood Music classes cater for 3-5 year olds, accompanied by an adult who participates in the class alongside their child. Activities include action songs, rhymes, learning games and movement, with the adults becoming role models for their children.


MUSICIANSHIP/THEORY/MUSIC CRAFT
Musicianship, Theory and Music Craft aim to provide a solid foundation in music literacy, including the conventions of music notation, melody, rhythm and harmony. The classes also provide a basic knowledge of music history, form and instrumental capabilities and integrate aural elements during the course.
